No, not at all. By putting it on the coolant hose, you're now telling the engine that your air is super warm (nobody runs WAIs to 175F as far as I know) and its probably retarding your ignition which reduces efficiency. This is all without the actual benefit of having warm air. So, you're getting the worst of both worlds.
