Buttoned up the car, turned the idle down and drove around the block. It runs pretty good, purrs like a kitten at idle, heat works too. I'm not sure my wife is going to like this car, it seems the engine mounts are a bit stiff from age, so it's a bit noisy, resonant rumble, at lower rpm and full throttle.. Going over to the next town for a test drive later.

... Drove around 80 miles today and down one logging trail. There was a frozen over mud hole that broke through when I drove over it, lots of spinning tires to get out. Drove on the interstate too, OK at 75 mph. Visited an abandoned lost cemetery in the woods with, read one grave stone from 1862.
