Well, folks, it's new car time.

I traded the Civic for a 2009 Fit Sport manual. At 44,000 miles it's the newest car I've ever owned. It's also a HUGE step up in utility for me and the family. Having a hatchback is great! Honda did a great job packaging the car, and it seems bigger inside than it is on the outside. MPG is down from the Civic, but it can cover some trips that previously required the Odyssey, so it's a net savings in fuel.

Handling is better. Features (toys) are better. Interior materials aren't as good. It seems they spent money and weight on the chassis and pinched on the interior. I think that's well spent.
