I drive into work @ midnight, there is no one on the road and most corners are farm fields. I still hit the brakes and slow dow to around 5-10mph, but legally is a full stop for a solid second which 99.999% of people don't follow. I guess I wasn't very clear in my post, the 20mph thing is for corners with no stop required, 20mph + brakes for stop corners.
