I personally have an Ultra Gauge (well 2 of them and a scan gauge), something like $55 or 60 for a new one. It don't show the DFCO very well, but you can watch the O2 sensor and see when it drops to 0 that it isn't burning any fuel (flooded with O2).
The scan gauge would read 9999mpg when my DFCO was on, Ultra Gauge it isn't setup by default, never monkeyed with it to get it to indicate.
