2013 Mitsubishi Mirage speed / fuel economy - 1.2L, 5spd

EM member niky was kind enough to gather some readings for us recently while reviewing/testing a new Mitsubishi Mirage:

This car would give my "stock" 1998 Pontiac Firefly (Geo Metro) a run for its money, getting slightly worse mileage below 80 km/h, but better mileage above.

These results are from a car not yet broken in (2k km/1200 mi. on the clock), with the tires set at spec in the low-30 PSI range, and the A/C running. (My Firefly doesn't even have A/C!) On the other hand, balance that against the fact the numbers came from the factory FE gauge -- they're often optimistic.

Still, the numbers support our guesstimate that this car will have the best (if not, then 2nd best) non-hybrid mileage when it arrives in Canada & the U.S. this fall.
