But likely those vehicles are exempt either by their intended usage or by their age, the law stands that you are not allowed to bring in non-historic cars under 25yrs period.
Just because some people get away with it does not mean that is the law, and a dumb one at that.
Otherwise why did they try to crush all the sub 25yr old imported kei trucks from japan a couple years back?
They were imported for off road but even that was not good enough.
