I think that it could be done with a simple switch for testing and you have a manual DFCO then and a kill switch. Or you can geek more and build a fairy simple electronic device with a switch for getting "throttle pedal released" signal and a signal from an alternator to get revs/min signal. Then if you have revs like above 1000 and throttle pedal is released it gives DFCO signal to the solenoid to cut the fuel off.

Also, going to phone my tame mechanic to get a quote for doing the timing belt- want that done before I start playing with boost and fuelling
they will come after the suspsneison is replaced (possibly this weekend!)
