I put an HF tranny in an 86 si to check it out. would pull to like 80 mph in 2nd gear. Sick.
I couldn't use fifth, no torque, changed back to SI tranny. Would run 65 mph @ 3100 rpm. The hf used to run 60 at like 1800 -2000 if I rmember correctly. I'm not sure you have an HF tranny.
