Oh, and tires do NOT behave according to classical friction theory. Tires generate their highest grip at 10% to 15% slip.

Saw that. But it was talking about lower pressures and for two motorcycle tires, which are very narrow. I'm wondering how big the disconnect is for square shouldered radials.
