Updated the fuel log and the MPGs have fallen off a cliff here. In October the cold weather started to hit hard - our heating bill rose quite a bit too. Also hitting MPGs is a local utility (Scottish Gas Networks) who are replacing gas pipes at the moment. The pipes live under our roads so the traffic disruption has been quite major - long crawling queues which means more idling than usual.
Will have to work hard to make anything up in the spring, hopefully when they go away...
