It is more or less like this, will take a ponder. I'm kind of reluctant to move the tailgate too much as the bugs are prone to leaky rears (steady) but mine is dry so far. And it is inside the warranty, and new, and shiney...

I did ponder replacing it with an (older) Diesel Aygo from Fife the other week...
Gie it a shot

Failing that, I'm heading to the Kingdom of fife tomorrow, via my unit- could give you a lift to go get the diseasal aygo?

Watching that vid I noticed that your SG looks naked. Do you have problems reading it when it's sunny out (I've heard that UK gets a bit of sun every few years)? I recently moved mine closer to the windshield and I wrapped it in black abs to keep the glare down:

I can add a side picture so you see how long the shade is.

I prefer remaining married

What annoyed was that I was in a superb glide, and had to brake even though I was flashing to let him out and had opened a gap for him.

I intended to build it into the dash but the car came with built in sat-nav instead so I couldn't. I was worried about it being there for a while partially because of sun and also because of people wanting to steal it, but it hasn't been a problem so far.

As for Sun, this is Scotland. There is a reason they all drink so much.

Updated the fuel log and the MPGs have fallen off a cliff here. In October the cold weather started to hit hard - our heating bill rose quite a bit too. Also hitting MPGs is a local utility (Scottish Gas Networks) who are replacing gas pipes at the moment. The pipes live under our roads so the traffic disruption has been quite major - long crawling queues which means more idling than usual.

Will have to work hard to make anything up in the spring, hopefully when they go away...

Another non-news update. Spring has finally arrived in the land of Robert the Bruce so I have risked the removal of my upper grill blocks. I also removed the accumulated road salt from underneath with the pressure washer (paid with coins as you go) at my local supermarket - the guy after me was puzzled why I only washed underneath and not the top - I did that at home with far less water.

New front tyres (Uniroyal Rain Experts) fitted a few weeks ago to cater for the snow - the contis seemed to lose all traction just before then. The Uniroyals have higher RR but much better grip (although rated the same). Also much quieter and cheaper.

Another non-update.

Mrs A, who knows I get bored easily with cars, offered me the option of swapping George in August - I declined, we have other more important things to spend money on like school fees, retirement, and a nice holiday for Mrs A at some point this year. George will be here until 2016.

Thats my good side.

The bad side is that I managed to pick up a stainless exhaust system for a Citroen C1 (same car underneath) for a large discount so George may go (slightly) "Ricer".

It has been delivered in it's heavy bubble-wrapped glory and is stored in the wharehouse at work.

I've just got to work out if I can do it myself (unlikely - my garage is full, my drive slopes a lot and I'm useless with spanners these days and have no time) or get the garage that sorts out the work commercials to do the job.

Plus I would like to keep the original in case it is too noisy, I feel 17 again but am more than double that...

Update - George went ricer and back again - too noisy for the motorway.

After the original quiet 'zorst went on I spotted this on my journey back the other day

Gen 1 Insights are rare in the UK and this one was hypermiling (although in a rush to the end).

Been busy creating a population bomb so not been here for a while.

Small update - the Prius is going on Monday to be replaced with a 1.6 TD CR Octavia DSG, the pee-poor build quality lost it for Toyota.
