I purchased the SGII first and then got the UG afterwards. The only thing the SGII can do (fer some vehicles) is to put in custom PIDs to display things like the factory transmission temps which the UG doesn't allow you to input custom PIDs at all. I do prefer the UG over the SGII because of the number of pages and the amount of data one can see...up to 56 data displays.
