Though I've thoroughly enjoyed driving in the GGP it looks like I might have to skip it this year. I'm scheduled for some surgery on my clutch foot and the Dr. says I likely won't be able to put any weight on it till after the GGP.

And yes the fuel measurement issues at GGP still remain. Cars with "factory" mpg computers are allowed to use them to determine their score but otherwise it's scales to weigh car for the track portion and a pump fill for the road rally.

I've convinced the GGP that my VERY carefully calibrated MPGuino is at least as accurate as a factory built in computer so I've been using it for scoring. Of course carb'ed vehicles and old school diesels don't easily have that option.
