You wil most certainly need some sort retention setup, as if done with Coroplast(very light) will be lifted and overturned by a decent tail wind when your at a stand still. If it is done with light metals you might not need to in that case, a few earth magnets or bungies might help keep it in place for good measure.

Otherwise think about a LSR "drag" or Drift style wing extension more to clean up the rear. How does the rear of your car look underneath(get rid of your parachute).

Upper grill block
Belly pans help regardless. Make access holes for easy maintenance(its not hard). keeps chassis and engine bay clean if done right.
Diffuser with shallow angle of attack
Side skirts/wheel spats
Wing/Tail extension

Splitters are good for easy downforce and traction(increasing RR), not for FE without extensive tests
With the Stang platform, they're just about any number of bolt-ons for your needs
