Yes. I wish that in a lot of climates, studded snow tires were illegal. Here in Portland for instance, they just tear up the concrete during our rainy winter. We get MAYBE a day or two of snow a year. Lots of people try to justify it by saying they need it when they go up to the mountain, but honestly chains take like 4 minutes to put on a car if you REALLY need the traction.
