Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was thinking about this today and found it through a search. I wanted to put an LED strip next to the tach, since both are useful for hypermilling to determine fuel efficiency. The Dot/Bar Display Driver from TI looks promising, but I wasn't really sure what else I would need, or how to put it all together. Is there a write-up somewhere or can somebody help direct me from step 1 to the end?
Does anybody have any ideas?
The ultragauge has these:
Absolute Throttle Position 1%
Relative Throttle Position %
Absolute Throttle Position 2 %
Command Throttle Position %
Do any of these do what I am trying to accomplish?
