That's where I disagree.

If someone wants to slap something they made on their own car and doesn't care about properly testing it, that's ultimately their own problem.

But when someone is actively trying to sell that mod... trying to get people to part with several hundred dollars for something without properly documenting its effectiveness, that's a whole other ball game.

It's reasonable that those people and their mods should be held to a higher level of accountability than hobbyists.
