You're right, according to the spare parts website, the earlier versions of the 1.5 (94-96) had the 17x61.
If your AX is from '93 and if the gearbox is stock, it's 17x61.
I already thought about mounting the 18x62 but it's complicated. Dismounting the whole gearbox is too much work. Or I could get a stock gearbox with 18x62 and swap the 5th gear. That would be the easiest but the problem is the gap between 4th and 5th which would be even bigger than now : +27% stock, +43% now and +55% with 18x62 and 47x32.
