Speaking of keeping the engine warm, I've parked the Dakota for five hours and come back to a temp gauge just a few degrees lower than when I left. The secret is in the 600lbs of iron holding in heat. And, it tends to create a big cloud of hot air around the front half of the neighborhood, which further keeps things warm.

When it does finally cool down, though, it takes forever to warm back up.
