sael,
Very nice going.

By the way, we here in the US wish we could get those lighter weight cars with small diesels. So far as I know the smallest diesels that are commonly available here are the VW Golf, Jetta and Beetle, currently with 2.0 liter engines in the Golf.

After a grill block, I vote for flat wheel covers and then a belly pan. A belly pan is substantial work but it pays off.

Im sure that Common Rail Turbo Diesel are the way to go so far...
Dont need to be a genius to get really amazing fuel economy driving like you stole it

I know that for US diesel cars are so new and got a relatively market share in hand of Volkswagen.

Volkswagen have nice small diesel cars in europe too, dont know why they didn't put in US models. Maybe the people there is not ready for downsizing.

Speaking of keeping the engine warm, I've parked the Dakota for five hours and come back to a temp gauge just a few degrees lower than when I left. The secret is in the 600lbs of iron holding in heat. And, it tends to create a big cloud of hot air around the front half of the neighborhood, which further keeps things warm.

When it does finally cool down, though, it takes forever to warm back up.
