making some progress. Ill get photos uploaded tomorrow.
Oil pan sealed, rear main oil seal replaced.
Putting a new clutch and flywheel on and bolting the trans back up.
Got the passenger motor mount from the MK1 onto the MK3 motor without taking the timing belt off (I will update with pics, had to trim back plate and timing belt cover...bit nervous something ever falling in there).
I also decided to just purchase the WRD Advantage 020 to 02A Transmission Mounts to make life easier for me and to save time on trying to make my own.
I patched up some rust in the engine bay area..not the greatest as it was my first time welding with a Hobart Handler.
Gas tank was taken out and cleaned and ready for diesel.
After test fit, I need to see how to get the MK3 hydro shifter setup mounted and the pedal cluster. Then its wiring time.
