Having a velomobile compete would be an interesting comparison. Simply because I don't think a human over the same course and speeds could match the MPGe of these cars. (depending on what foodstuff you're using to compute calorie costs...)
I'm bummed. They just finished the local leg of the Shell Eco-Marathon and I didn't get to go.
