Since the original pony car was based on Falcon/Vomit (excuse me,Comet) mechanicals,to modify the current iteration would actually move the car back to it's original economy-car roots.
Too bad FoMoCo doesn't yet offer a real fastback 'Stang as Mickey Thompson set LSRs with.
