Wow, that's a good find! I really doubt that the sales manager at a Nissan dealership knows the niche market for an XFi vs a regular Metro. Either way I would be surprised if they gave the guy anything more than $300 trade in value for it. Of course, that doesn't mean they will sell it for anywhere near that cheap! What were they asking for it?
Here's something I am surprised I didn't end up owning. '88-'91 Civic wagons are pretty much my favorite eco-car. This '90 was donated to charity, and sold at an auction. 154k kms (95k miles). But it had 2 things going against it - 1. automatic 2. aftermarket sunroof. Some things just really bother me in cars, and one of them is an aftermarket pop up sunroof. The roofs in the wagons tend to be flimsy to start with, once someone hacks a big hole in it they aren't helping that situation at all! And with the amount of rain we get here, the last thing you want is a leaky sunroof.
