I've settled on the battery. I'm going with the Winston LFP40AH 3.2V, 40Ah (or comparable).

The only problem right now is I need to switch out this motor. That's priority one. Is there any way to get a DC to AC inverter for the bike to use what I have? Or would I need to worry about the amps frying the thing? I'm thinking it would over-complicate things (regen braking, etc...)
