I must say that I have been somewhat derailed in my quest for 40mpg. While I feel it is a worthwhile and lofty goal, I have been driving the truck as sparingly as I can get away with. I don't have any instrumentation for it yet and having to wait 2 months between tanks really puts a damper on my enthusiasm for the project. I will continue to work on the truck slowly and might eventually reach this goal (next summer perhaps), but short term reality is that I don't need the truck more than a couple times a week and the Festiva is more fun and economical for me to drive. I will continue to report my tanks and mods as they come for those who are interested  |
i have a little Ranger and am barely beating your mileage. i wish i could get a diesel in my truck i would be on my way to 50 mpgs!
