I'm not going to be done in time for VMD in Ohio and considering the possibility of not bringing the bike. If I do then it will just be a static display, but one with good potential. Might be interesting to look at and for others to see what could be possible. I certainly have learned some things along the way and will do several things differently next time. (Oh heck no! this is not just a one time thing. I've got a few more scooters that will get transformed.)
I really would like it to be done to the point where I could ride it up to the pavilion where others will be displayed. I don't want to have to push it there since it is a long way from the campground and it is sure to be hot as blazes. But right now it's a tangled mess where things were taken off the frame to narrow it some and make room for the fairing.
Folks might be interested in how it is being built it since it is getting done with carbon fiber in the process. (my first ever experience with composites) It will look somewhat better than the pics here with the cleco fasteners bristling all over. (they will be replaced with pop rivets and then covered with duct tape, Ughhh! but then later will be replaced with reflective tape when it is finished.)
If I get a chance, (and that is a big if) I'll try to get a notebook or some such with some pictures of the build process thus far. It's good to share ideas for inspiration. The Vetter site inspired me so.....
