I have a spreadsheet app on my phone that allows me to enter data easily. I use fuelly once I have the data recorded. It allowed me to do a bulk import of my fillups which was nice. I think I disabled the mileage split because there was no good way to track it.

If nothing else, just record gallons pumped, odometer, date and total price. Once you have that data you can do anything you want with it later on. I have my spreadsheet to tell me all kinds of cool info.
