I have never thought about it, but now that you mentioned the front inner fenders, I wonder if they have a major impact on my mpg? I bought my HX without them. It came without the front under plastic or the inner fender plastics. I wonder how much of your increase between takes 1 and 2 was due to the inner fenders missing. Probably most has to do with timing and tire pressure, but its got me thinking about searching for inner fenders!
