I have never thought about it, but now that you mentioned the front inner fenders, I wonder if they have a major impact on my mpg? I bought my HX without them. It came without the front under plastic or the inner fender plastics. I wonder how much of your increase between takes 1 and 2 was due to the inner fenders missing. Probably most has to do with timing and tire pressure, but its got me thinking about searching for inner fenders!

It's optional for the city light bulb.

Are you sure those headlights are stock?

Anyway, good work taking it back to stock. Have you considered keeping that red lip on the front bumper to lower the stagnation point? I'll bet it would help MPG.

Can't get over how clean that thing is. It looks brand new.

Those are aftermarket headlight with HID projectors retrofit. I have other ideas on making the front bumper more aero.

Filled up this past weekend @ 530.75 miles on 9.417 gals = 56.36mpg

A little disappointed, due to carrying 2 passengers on my last 1/4 of gas and driving at higher speed then I should of.

I've been very busy all weekend making my kamm back wing and rear wheel cover.

Looks nice! Might as well do a side mirror delete as well.

Do you have more pictures of your wheel skirts from different angles? You want to make sure the leading edge of the skirt is not hitting the wind at a blunt angle....you'd want a smooth transition from body-to-wheel skirt

Thanks, I did thought about rounding off the sharp edge too. I'm probably gonna make the wing adjustable and as for the length.... well see how it goes.

I'm will considering mirror delete the side mirrors.

Here are some pics. I originally wanted to make it seamless/smooth with the mud gaurd. But for now this will work. I hope.

Will take some different angle pictures of later.
