Yes limiting factor is not the turbo or engine but how we wanted to make the torque to fit current gearbox. We have also adjusted the turbo vanes to get lower back pressure in higher revs to get more power there. that sacrifices low end torgue and response, thats why we have to wake the turbo with "smoke" at low revs.

So with differend setting more can be made pretty easy. that 280 Nm is there on limits but 200 Nm should not be big problem.



There guys produce from 1.25 liter diesel

270 Nm at 2000rpm
~180nm at 1800 rpm
~130 nm at 1600 rpm

But that is from stock Opel contruction and parts.
