14.5 is lambda 1, do you have black smoke?

Yes there is visible smoke with these settings. Its now tuned for max power first and after that we start now fine tune the efficiency. Visible smoke start somewhere when lambda goes under 16 in diesels.

For best efficiency its better to keep it over 17.

Yesterday dyno results were:
119.3 Hp and 284.8 Nm so doubled power and torgue from factory.
First test tank with these injectors gave 2.633 l/100km which is not bad conserning that included dyno pulls and avg test speed 90% of the tank was same as in best tank and it was wet and cold half of the tank.

Efficiency tuning will continue this week and try to reach two liters during this week as weather is getting warm again.

So it looks like you have a lot of torque under 2000rpms. Probably double the torque of my Civic, at least. So, like the 3 cylinder Ford ecoboost, you have a great set up for accelerating under optimum high load in the 1500-2200 RPM range. Those turbos are cool.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

There actually is no "torgue" under 2000 rpm. Max torgue 284.8 is at 2500 so at
2000 rpm = 230Nm
1800 rpm = 200 Nm
1500 rpm = 100Nm

I will have 280 Nm at 1500 when gearbox is changed to bigger which can handle the torque.

120hp with a 1.2l TDI.. wow, nice!
My engine get "only" 100hp with 1.3l gasoline, but without turbo.

Il wait for more

So the actual parabolae in torque curve that we see between 1000 to 2250 is not limited by the turbo or ail fuel ratio map. Do you really think is it possible to get so much boost at 1500 rpm?
I'm guessing that you will have an IQ of 55 mg/stroke and 800 mg air/stroke now at 2500 rpm.
But I've seen in other video of boost gauge that it seems like you have some overboost and surge when full throtle.
I'm very interested in low rpm torque. It seems to my that 100 to 120 Nm at 1000 rpm with your engine is possible, but I will be amazed if you get that increase of torque (without precharging turbo) of +160 to +180 Nm in only 1500 rpm.
Next step for me, if you achieve your aim, is driving de 4000 kms to your garage to have my car pimped by you. ahahaha
Congratulations for your hard work.

Yes limiting factor is not the turbo or engine but how we wanted to make the torque to fit current gearbox. We have also adjusted the turbo vanes to get lower back pressure in higher revs to get more power there. that sacrifices low end torgue and response, thats why we have to wake the turbo with "smoke" at low revs.

So with differend setting more can be made pretty easy. that 280 Nm is there on limits but 200 Nm should not be big problem.

There guys produce from 1.25 liter diesel

270 Nm at 2000rpm
~180nm at 1800 rpm
~130 nm at 1600 rpm

But that is from stock Opel contruction and parts.

2.05 l/100km at 90 km/h avg speed so its getting pretty close:

- Raised tyre pressures from 2.6 to 4.6 bar
- built intercooling ducting
- Closed little bit more of the front grill. Now water temp at 97-103 celsius
- removed engine fan

Ultragauge avg speed 90.0 km/h. This was little slower drive speeds than previous best as cars fuel consumption gauge avg showed 2.3 liter figures.

Still throttle control not tweaked and power software in which is tricky in accelerations.

Weather +21 celsius and road +40 celsius.

There is a chance of fillup error, but usually they are to other direction. Next tests will reveal more

4.6 bar is quite high...
Tires also work as suspension. If you pump them that hard you'll increase wheel travel; the shock absorbers will generate extra resistance.
The rougher the road the lower the optimal pressure is. For a very light car and a standard tarmac road I think 3 bar is optimal, unless you run on space savers

That said, if you prove me wrong I might pump mine beyond 3 bar
