I'm really at a loss as to fender skirt mounting. I've looked at a few builds here and nothing seems like it would work right.

-It must be easily removable for switching wheels and racing
-It must not be held on by tape
-It must have decent enough fit and finish to not look slapped-together.

Ideas? Links?

I've been thinking of mounting L-brackets inside the wheel lip, with threaded holes in the brackets. Then I could put the skirt up against them and screw it on from the outside. The main issue with this, in my mind, is that air may catch the leading edge of the skirt. It will also be difficult to continue the skirt surface rearward like this-



I was just talking about perhaps building the rear bumper and skirts into one big body panel and attaching it using hood pins, but that is very much involved. I may end up chopping the bumper up anyway, so who knows.
