Just now, going up our hill, in the designated bike lane because I have a 50cc scoot. Still accelerating, approx 15-20mph...And a SUV rapidly appears in a side street. I hit the brakes, and spill the scoot. I have an AIRZOUND horn operated by the same thumb for the electric horn-which should blare off before the electric. It happened so fast, that I could not get to the 120dB horn trigger which is located at the base of thumb. I was also wearing a flagger's vest.

DumbAss-He said he didn't see me.
Dumbass -ME, I'm NOT going to ride in the bike lane even though I am slow enough and legally supposed to be in the bike lane. I don't have enough reaction time or maneuvering room in the bike lane.

The TaoTao gas cap leaks. Luckily I spilled the scoot on the left, and not on the muffler side. I had some trouble in pulling foot from under the bike.

Steering column is now out of alignment. Some scrape marks on cowling, and skin abrasion on leg.
