I found the gauges and figured out how to set and use them two days ago. It has about thirty miles on the trip meter now. On local roadway driving, speeds 25-45 mph and with the tires still under inflated (!) I am averaging 31.2mpg as of this morning's "commute." I leave for a longer trip again tomorrow. I'll gas up and pump up tire pressure to max sidewall (not beyond).

I don't think so, if you mean electrical assist to the drivetrain. If you mean steering, braking, or other pumps that are traditionally often on belts to the engine, I don't know (maybe?).
