Today I did another MPG test run. I went to Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs and back (56.5 mi.) EBH plugged 2 hours, c°WT 59°C before starting, c°IA 28°C. 23°C Ambiant temp. My 12v battery was fully charged, VLT 12.6 before starting. On the going trip It was difficult to keep good mpg because my 144v battery was empty and my electric motor was recharging it. I did 92.2 mpg.
Driving technique : similar to last time mpg run. Lean Burn DWL at 45-55 mph and P&EOC in city. AVG speed form SG-II 36 mph. Trying to stay at 17 TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is hard, but sometimes when the LOD are below 60, instantatenous mileage is between 135 and 150+ mpg. When climbing hills, I go between 21-25 TPS.
On the returning trip, my 144v battery was fully charged and I was able to keep a 135 mpg target. Sometimes I was at 145-150+ mpg inst. for 1-2 miles. Did 114 mpg!
AVG for the test run : 103.1 mpg (US) | 2.28 L/100 km.
