If you're really handy, you might be able to fashion a boattail, similar to the one Basjoos put on his Honda. Make it light and hang it off the spare tire so that it can be easily removed. Flip the rear seats forward and you have easy access to that shoebox sized trunk.

I don't know if you could fashion a removable nose cone, but it might be worth a shot. use plexiglass "eyelets" like ebacherville used on his CRX. Without changing the position of the headlights, plexiglass portions of the cone would allow the light to shine through.

The windshield is a tough nut to crack though. Maybe have a velcro detachable canopy in front of it. Prolly wouldn't want something like that on in the rain though..

Or... you could drop the windshield down, remove the door tops, fully recline the passenger seat and fashion a canvas tonneau cover like they use in sports cars. Just make it tent over the rear tire and done. Just wear a helmet with face shield or at least sunglasses while driving. Yeah, you'd still have your roll bars whistling through the wind, but it would prolly be better than that windshield. Just check with local laws before attempting this one.
