I took her to drive them all
1) Tacoma: Out unacceptable ride, crap back seat, poor entry.
2) Subaru Crosstek: probably out because the forester is cheaper (yes, really, sale price, not msrp), comes with a hitch, and is larger. I still like it better, but if I was making decisions, it would be a TDI.
3) Subaru Forrester: on fence. Not a fan of high roof, not easiest to get in and out of, but . . . .
4) Toyota Rav 4: chances are the winner, easiest entry, trusted brand, by far quietest and smoothest ride, tied with Forrester for space, lower roof than Forrester, much nicer interior. A bit more money though.
Now we are just waiting for a check from a company that tells you that your emails contain no attachments by replying to that message and including those attachments in the reply (repeatedly I might add).
By far the worst part about Ford IMHO is the painful customer service.
