I don't monitor mine at all, but like looking at Diesel Daves charts, EOC stops energy from being wasted, and his temps go down- one can see all of the little dips in his charts when he cuts the engine.

yes it was in the "on" position. I know not to leave it in the "off" position otherwise the steering wheel will lock up!
