The 1.2 can already match the 1.0s on the highway, thanks to the aerodynamics. And it's not so bad in the city compared to 0.8s I've driven. Hell... though I've never driven them back to back, in my experience, the 1.0 variant of the Spark is no better than the Mirage in traffic. And the 1.2 liter variant is a gas-guzzling pig, in comparison... without any benefit in performance. I've just reviewed my table of testing data, the Spark 1.2 is actually slower to 62 mph.
