as a note: Ford Taurus does NOT lower the rpms in Neutral so that car showed no improved mpg

Excellent, will do some experiments at lower speeds and queues. Shifting to N at stops cuts the GPH by 50% at idle. At longer stops I shut the engine off assuming the turbo has not been running a lot.
