Calm down all please. And yeah, I'm one to talk getting annoyed at people with DSG advice

@Lean - I think the instructions in the manual assume the engine is off when the car is towed and states specifically that the limits on speed and distance and due to no lubrication of the gearbox.

My question is if I leave the engine on can I shift to N and coast as much as I like.

Or basically if the engine is on, is the gearbox lubricated ?

Thanks though.

EDIT - also remember this is a Quattro so towing with an axle off the ground makes no difference, it would have to be on a trailer.
