On the truck I go until the EMPTY light comes on. The rest of the gauge doesn't work right, so the needle points to E for about 400 miles. I'd replace the gauge but because of the way the tank's mounting bolt threads have failed, I can't get the tank down. I'd have to pull the bed. I just don't want to do that.
On the Honda I'll go until the light comes on or until I've cracked 400 miles on the tank and it's payday, whichever is first.
