I'm sure we have all seen older drivers whose driving .... ah ..... leaves something to be desired. At some point, those people no longer drive - and sometimes it takes the court to deliver the bad news.
I wonder if that is what is going on. (Yes, yes. I am aware that he is only in his late 50's, but is it so hard to imagine that he MIGHT have those same symptoms?)
