I take it your disappointed with this forum??? I wish there was a magic bean so to speak... but there isn't.

I have a OBDI ECU and I can control all the parameters and there is only so much tweaking you can do to improve on FE. I have tune OBDII ECU's (K PRO Hondata etc.) also and its the same for both.

The problem is the ICE itself. Its not the ECU's software inputs.

The next major change will be IMHO Hybrid turbo chargers with
"Motor Generator Units" running DI with very high fuel pressure's using spray piston guided technology. F1 next year's new efficiency format. F1 has already made major progress with this technology. Even then you are only talking a couple points in BTE.

After the nut behind the wheel, Aero is still the low hanging fruit with the biggest gains when it comes to FE. So some people on this forum have gone for that. Can you blame them???
