Did a longer trip today - managed 47.3 (on board display) and 49.6 (SG2) today on the way there and 47.1 (OBD) and 48.0 (SG2) on the way back. I wasn't rushing but also not holding back - 65 in the 70 zone and 50 in the 50 part of the A77.

The tank average (on board) is sitting at 41.1 so if that pans out this will be a good tank.

Of course from tomorrow Hermann is comuting again and will be struggling to beat 35.

Now that Hermann's mechanical state seems fine I have been looking into the remapping world - there are a few economy remaps available which may work, I need to work out the insurance and other implications first though and find out more. Some people post decent results but I'm not sure how many use their A6s in urban driving.

And I may have to check out cleaning the induction system as carbon build up may be an issue.
