In limited series production the age is not the problem. And the parts actually are cheaper as it gets older. When I bought my red 3L avergare price was around 3000+€. Now you can buy one for avg price around 2000€. They produced 30000 pcs of Lupo 3L models and some of them are crashed already but you can still buy main components that worn out from dealer or as spare parts. Like bearings and brakes etc.

Most parts of the 3L can be used to make 3 totally different type of vehicles:
1 ecocar which gets safety related components, steering brakes gearbox etc.
1 luxury car that will get just the engine, like my Audi A8 will be a test rig
1 race car, from the body, which my red will also become.
