aerodynamic speed brakes

As I stated in the EOC thread, I was thinking about a speed brake for my beetle.
I have only a week or two of this job left, so I doubt I will get to it this year.
I may be back for next summer though.
What I planned was a scoop panel I could deploy out the open sunroof as needed. This is a fair weather tool only
