I don't mind a couple of starts on the way down for rebuilding vac for the brake assist. I was looking for something more elegant, like sailing.
If I had a kinetic energy recovery system, what would I do with the energy? I don't want batteries, that would suck badly on the up hills. The big up hill.
So I thought, how about a Rube Goldberged fan on a post that goes up, powering a wood turning lathe? I could make custom Mt. Rainier pens in my spare time on the way down
